Apple MACbook Air

This thin and light laptop outperforms almost all of the competition. Compared to the other lightest ultrathin notebooks, it's hard to beat a processor that pumps life through an electronic device at 1.8GHz. The MacBook Air also includes an Intel HD Graphics 3000 processor. This processor has an on-chip engine for encoding and decoding video. This means when you make FaceTime calls or use Skype, the calls are smoother and more responsive, making the calls feel more like you're really talking face to face.

The speakers on this tiny piece of technology are definitely designed to be heard and not seen. The MacBook Air has two small speakers, one on each side, which actually deliver very intense sound. The speakers project through the keyboard instead of through the sides.
The MacBook Air is just 0.68 inches thick when closed, and it weighs 2.38 pounds. The 11-inch screen has a display resolution of 1280 x 720, but with the high-definition display, you feel like you are viewing a much larger screen.

The actual structure of the MacBook Air is also a feature in itself. This ultrabook has a unibody design that encompasses both the main enclosure and the actual display. This design means there are fewer parts, which inevitably leads to a durable, exceptionally thin and light MacBook Air that holds up to everyday use.
If you are often working late into the night, the MacBook Air has a backlit keyboard, which is also spill resistant. Also, the MacBook Air has a multi-touch trackpad, which goes hand-in-hand with any Apple product. You can use one finger to click or use two fingers to zoom, scroll or perform other navigational actions.

The MacBook Air includes two USB ports, an SD card slot and a Thunderbolt port. The Thunderbird port is 20 times faster than the traditional USB 2.0, making it ideal for connecting your MacBook to an Apple monitor or to other media devices.
The MacBook Air falls slightly short in memory and battery life. The battery on this ultrathin laptop will give you anywhere from 5 to 7 hours, one thing Macs do well is preserve energy when you aren't using them. Plus, the MacBoook Air comes back from sleep mode quickly and efficiently, using the least amount of energy possible.
